So what is there to know about me, the person behind the camera? I'm a pretty chilled person, but also take my job incredibly seriously at the same time and I absolutely love what I do.
I've been shooting weddings for over 10 years now, and I still love the moment you see a shot and then get that shot, exactly how you envisioned it, in camera. I do a little internal fist pump every time. My background is in marketing and branding and that still plays a role in a lot of what I do now. I also shoot commercial photography and video which you can check out here at Oomph.
Here's Greg and I at the top of Bonscale Pike in the Lake District, one of the Wainwright fells. iPhone pictures never do it justice but this was an pretty dramatic and awesome view from the top across Howtown and Ullswater.

A cabin in the woods, what's not to love? This was actually from a commercial shoot for an off grid cabin company, which I absolutely love, called unyoked.
So what about when I'm not behind the camera?
My big passions away from work include getting out into the middle of nowhere and taking pictures there too. When I'm not at home you can usually find me in the Lake District, Cornwall or Scotland taking in some epic scenery. I've also set myself the goal of climbing all the wainwright fells in my lifetime. Some people think I'm bonkers but I love the sense of achievement at the top and the reward of a great view.

a Foodie
I love to experiment with different flavours in the kitchen and I also love a bit of outdoor cooking. One of my good friends said "Emily loves a pilgrimage to a good restaurant" as I dragged her round the back streets of Lisbon for a hidden gem and she's absolutely right. When I'm not shooting weddings on a weekend I'll be scouring a market for great ingredients and inviting friends round for a good feast.
Our Wedding
We got married in 2016 at Rutland Water. Our wedding day was full of lots of little personal touches and meanings behind the choices we made. We had a civil ceremony at Normanton Church which juts out into the water and then whisked our friends and family over to the other side of the lake via a boat to our tipis for a good party. There were tears of laughter during the speeches, lots of food and drink and a jam packed dance floor, and of course lots of incredible pictures from our amazing photographer Jon, S6 Photography. We also had involved some of our amazing supplier friends including Vanessa + Dom at Harness & Co, and the incredibly lovely lady that is Tara Knott. All of them are absolute superstars!

A little bit of my heart will always belong here, Portscatho.
A wonderful fishing village in Cornwall that is the source of many childhood memories. Pretty much untouched by tourism and the most authentic and laid back place there is. I carve out some time every summer in the wedding season to come down here, spend some time with my family, go swimming, paddle boarding and fishing with my dad.
